I've had my trusty Canon Ixus 70 for about a year and a half now and I've been thinking about getting a new cam. The problem is that I can't decide which model to get. I've boiled it down to four options. Click on the model name for their reviews :
Canon Ixus 200is
Pros:
-touchscreen (I think this is a 1st for Canon)
-records HD videos
-takes 12.1mp pictures
Cons:
-touchscreen (I'm not a big fan)
-has buttons on the side (It's a TOUCHSCREEN so why is it there?)
Canon Ixus 110is
Pros:
-wide-angle lens
-records HD videos
-takes 12.1mp pictures
Cons:
-not so fond of the design
-no optical viewfinder
Canon Ixus 870is
Pros:
-3in LCD screen
-I love the design
Cons:
-only takes VGA videos
Canon Ixus 100is
Pros:
-records HD videos
-takes 12.1mp pictures
Cons:
-doesn't have a wide angle lens
-zoom is only 3x
Hmm... Also thinking of getting a Sony instead because they look so faboosh.
But I'm scared of touchscreens. And I'm not familiar with the image quality of Sony cams...
